What this is
A room where people actually meet each other
TheGrid Sessions started in 2019 as a small set of conversations about the things that make relationships work — and what quietly erodes them. It has grown, but the shape has not changed: a room, a subject, and people willing to be honest in front of each other.
It is a closed community, and that is deliberate. Membership is something you come to in person rather than something you buy.

The formats
Different rooms for different kinds of conversation. Some are open to everyone; others are for members.

The big one. A full social gathering built around meeting people you would not otherwise meet.

Three groups
They are not tiers of the same thing. Each is a distinct room with its own purpose, and you can belong to more than one.

The way in
How people join
There is no sign-up button, and there never will be. The only way in is to come to something first.
Come to an open event
Some of what we run is open to everyone, no membership needed. Turn up, and we will have met.
Come to a second one
Two open events is the threshold. It is not a formality — it is how we get to know each other in person first.
Apply
Tell us which group fits and a little about yourself. A referral from a member helps, and is not required.
We talk it over
Applications are reviewed by people, not a form. We are looking for respect, simplicity and honesty. Not everyone is a fit, and that is alright.

Once you are approved we send an invoice, and after that an invite to the group itself.
